How much does a media wall cost?

Every media wall is built to fit the room, so the price depends on what you want it to do. These are the things that make the biggest difference.

Size and layout

A simple wall around a TV costs less than a full-width wall with alcoves either side. The width, height and how many recesses or shelves you want are the biggest factors.

An electric fire

Adding an electric fire insert means building a deeper section to house it. The fire itself is a separate cost, and wider or three-sided fires cost more.

Lighting

LED strips, spotlights in the alcoves or a lit TV recess all add time and need an electrician to wire them in safely. Ash organises this for you.

Shelving and storage

Floating shelves, cupboards below, or fluted and slatted backs to the alcoves each add materials and making time.

Finish and decorating

Most media walls are boarded, taped, filled and painted. Panelling or slatted details take longer than a plain painted finish.

Getting an accurate price

The quickest way is to send a photo of the wall, rough measurements and a picture of something you like. Ash can then come out, measure up and give you a fixed quote.
